Dull and threatening weather prevailed for the concluding day of the Manawatu Racing Club's Winter Meeting at Awapuni on Saturday, when j there was an excellent attendance of patrons. The totalisator handled the sum of £19,089 10s, as compared with the £17,335 handled on the Saturday at the club's one-day meeting last May.
