Mrs. L. H. Herd, Messines Road, who has been staying with Mrs. J. H. Parr, Auckland, returned to Wellington by the Limited express on Saturday.
Mrs. Leslie Taylor, Wellington, who has been visiting her father, Mr. Arthur Brett, Auckland, has returned home.
Miss Molly Gifford, Herne Bay, Auckland, arrived at Wellington at the end of last week and is spending a holiday at Heretaunga.
Miss Eosemary Ross, Dunedin, who will attend the conference of Christian Youth to be held in Amsterdam in August as New Zealand's i sole representative, has arrived in Wellington and will leave by the Eemuera tomorrow for England.
Mrs. Norman Speight has returned to Dunedin after a visit to Wellington. Mrs. M. Webber, Wellington, is vis.iting Auckland.
Mrs. G. Shirtcliffe, Wellington, visited Palmerston North for the debutantes' ball organised by the Manawatu branch of the Woodford House Old Girls' Association which was held on Friday.
Mrs. D. S. Hamilton, Lower Hutt, has returned after spending ten days at the Chateau Tongariro.
Mrs. F. M. Phillips and Mrs. J. I. Beckett have returned to Wellington after spending a holiday at New Plymouth as the guest of Mrs. J. S. S. Medley.
Mrs. C. Goddard, with her small daughter, returned to Wellington on Saturday after a visit to Hawke's Bay, where she was the guest of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Ross, Twyford.
Mrs. Lacy, Stratford, is the guest of her daughter, Mrs. Rawleigh, Lower Hutt.
Miss Beatrice Ogden, Wellington, assistant to the New Zealand Plunket nursing adviser, was a visitor to Hawera last week.
