The total amount applied for in tenders for £30.000.000 of Treasury bills was £60,775,000. The average rate per cent, for bills at three months was 13s 3.63 das against 13s 4.68 d a week ago. At the corresponding date a year ago the average rate per cent, for bills at three months was 10s l.lld. Applications for £35.000,000 of Treasury bills totalled £74,300,000.
