Mr. A. K. Montgomerie, an apprentice fitter, of 368 Broadway, injured his back while working at the Railway Workshops, Lower Hutt, at 11.30 a.m. today. The Free Ambulance took him to hospital.
A waterside worker, Mr. H. O'Leary, 25 Rua Street, Lyall Bay, injured his left thigh and hips when he was crushed between some bales of wool at 1.55 p.m. today. The Free Ambulance took him from the Tamahine, at Queen's Wharf, to hospital ,
