OVER

(Received May 20, 1.30 p.m.>

LONDON, May 19.

Speaking in the House of Commons the Prime Minister denied that the British Government had sanctioned the partial return of Czecho-Slovak assets held in London, and said that the whole of a story that. £5,000,000 had been handed to Germany with the consent of the Treasury, as quoted by Mr. Lloyd George, was a mare's nest. Any release that had been made was in small amounts to refugees.
