Mayne , Morton, the Hutt Valley; welterweight, who drew with Billy Parris in his professional debut at Petone recently, has again been matched by the. Hutt VaUey Boxing Association, this time with Benny Leonard, of Australia, who has been look* ing for. bouts in New Zealand for some weeks now. Leonard was introduced to Wellingtonians from the Town Hall ring recently, and looks to be a husky sort of individual. His Australian record is quite imposing.

Leo Parsons, of Palmerston North, and Jackie Parker, of the Newtowa C gymnasium, New Zealand Empire Games bantamweight representative, will meet in a return encounter ova; six rounds. The pair fought a draw. in Palmerston North-last year, and tr* anxious to meet each other again. Harold Foote,- also of the Newtovm gymnasium, and J: Jenkins, an Australian amateur, training at Jack Crowley's gymnasium, will also meet in C ?.. six-round bout. These will provide two of the amateur preliminaries.
