ANATOLE FRANCE MUSEUM
M. Lucien Psichari, grandson of; Anatole France, has just made known that the residence of La &Bechel}erie, near Tours, where Anatole France passed the last years of his life, is-to-be turned into a museum. A committee has been, formed to preserve La Bechellerie just as it was when inhabited by the great writer. La Bechellerie is a delightfully artistic home, and besides personal relics of Anatole France it contain? a collection of paintings, statuary, and objects of art of exquisite taste. Most of the windows are ornamented with stained glass representing scenes from his novels. It is hoped that the museum will be inaugurated this year on the fifteenth anniversary of his death.
