CARE OF THE NECK
In the nightly cold-creaming which most women consider necessary nowadays for perfect, cleansing of the skin the neck is apt to receive somewhat scanty treatment, comments an English writer. When it is remembered, however, that the, face usually receives several cleansing treatments a day, it is obvious that the neck should claim more elaborate care. Cold cream or a cleansing oil should be rubbed, in gently, but generously, each night, and wiped off after it has been allowed to soak in for a few minutes. An astringent should afterwards be applied every two or three nights, according to the condition of the skin."A neck which has become discoloured through exposure to weather and insufficient care afterwards can be treated with milk, lemon, and water, or a mild solution of hydrogen peroxide. Brisk rubbing with a loofah two or three, times a week is also good for the same purpose.
It's smarter to fasten your posy of flowers with a lovely clip of three enamel green leaves with a special little loop concealed in the back for the stems.
