THE SCHOLA CANTORUM.

Vaugban Williams's stirring new work "Dona Nobis Pacem" will be performed by the Schola Cantorum on Thursday, June'l, in St. Francis Hall, Hill Street. This will be the first New Zealand performance of "Dona Nobis Pacem," which is conceded to be one of the most noignant and dramatic pleas for the -cause of "peace in our time" ever written' in musical form. Because of its newness and significance it has been decided to repeat the work in the second part of the programme. It is impossible to grasp the entire content of the composition in one hearing. Mr. Stanley Oliver will conduct and Miss Ava Symons will lead the orchestra.
