HUTT V.M.C.A.
ANNUAL MEETING
The annual meeting of the Hutt Valley. V.M.C.A. was held on Thursday evening, following a dinner provided by the ladies' auxiliary. Mr. C. G. Hedge presided.
The chairman, in presenting the annual report, commented on the amount of work that had been done during the year for the youth of the Hutt Valley, and expressed thanks to all those who had contributed in labour, cash, or kind to the welfare of the association. "We have just completed our fifth year of operations in the Valley, and with the growth of population m recent years we consider that there is a great future ■•and need for our work." he concluded.
Musical honours were accorded the (adies" auxiliary for its splendid work. Mrs. C. G Hedge, the president, responded.
Mr.. Hedge and the Rev. Thomson Mack.v were re-elected president and vice-presidenl respectively; Messrs. J. B Grey. W. Raine, A. Miller. W. J. K'?nnsc3.v, and J. Kerr wera elected to 'j-jp d'T-prtorate. and Mssdames- HedHP •tic! A Milter as representatives of the ladies' auxiliary.
