SUCCESSFUL CAMPAIGN

AUCKLAND, May-19

The campaign of the Mayor, Sir Ernest Davis, to enlist 1000 volunteers to bring the peace establishment of the Territorial force in Auckland City to normal strength reached its objective today, when military authorities anlounced that 1018 men hail been enrolled. A vigorous effort has been nade to obtain men between the ages jf 18 and 35 for Territorial service.
