AID BY THE STATE

(By Telegraph—-Press Association—Copyright.! (Received January 5, 12.40 p.m.) n PRAGUE, January 4.

Ten thousand Austrian, German, and Sudeten refugees are to leave Czechoslovakia as the first step of a scheme for large-scale emigration aided by the State. This will be largely financed from the British £10,000,000 loan.

Five thousand Jews, for whom certificates have already been granted, will go to Palestine, but definite arrangements have been made for only one thousand of five thousand German Jews. These are to go to Canada, four thousand others being distributed between various South American States.
