HUGE COST IN BRITAIN
(Received January 5, 11.50 a.m.) LONDON, January 4. For the year ended last March war pensioners and their dependants totalled 904,700. Pensions paid amounted to £40,200,000. The cost of pensions and their administration since the war has been £1,275,000,000.
