WON BY KARORI CLUB

A good surface and perfect weather made bowling pleasant on the Hutt Bowling Club's green yesterday afternoon when the semi-finals and final of the Wellington Bowling Centre's New Year fours were, played. The Karori team, skipped by G. Crawford, won after a close game with the Hutt rink, skipped by McKenzie, in the semifinals and-a comparatively easy game against the Woburn rink, skipped by Collins, in the final. The games were:— Semi-finals;—G. G. McFarlane, G. Gapes, M. G. Nasmith, G. Crawford, (Karori), 21; A. Moore, P. Murphy, Shearer, E. McKenzie (Hutt), 19. G. F. Martin, G. de Clifford, T. K. Popple, P. Roberts (Woburn), 27; R. J. Lever, C. Cooper, D. W. Smith, G. F. Coffins (Woburn), 12. Final.—Crawford 25; Roberts 11.
