YOUNG MAN CHARGED

MASTERTON, This Day,
Arising out of an episode near th» Masterton Hospital yesterday, -when Eileen Patricia Devery, aged 16, was struck over ihe head.and face, the alleged assailant,.George Curtis, aged 21. was charged in court this morning with assaulting the girl with intent to commit a crime. A remand was granted until January 12. The accused said he had nothing to say. n
