PLANNING AHEAD.

The 1938-39 season of the Oakland Forum Artist Series has been announced and is a very interesting one, to which contributions will be made by such famous international artists as Elisabeth Rethberg and Ezio Pinza, the famous soprano and basso, in a joint concert; Argentina, the brilliant Spanish dancer and her company (set down for December 9); Richard Tauber, Vienna's lyric tenor, the idol of Europe who is announced for February 28 of next year; and Robert Casadeus, piano soloist, with the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra, on Tuesday, March 21, 1939 These concerts are given in the Oakland Auditorium Theatre every season and draw capacity audiences of music-loving Americans and overseas visitors.
