GAIETY RUNS RIOT.

A library deal for over £35,000 was done before the. Gaiety opening of "Running Riot," the Leslie Henson musical show in London, reports "Cavalcade." This was the first time a library deal had done business before a first night. One. of the best laughter-provoking acts in the whole show was Richard Hearne dancing the Lancers with an imaginary partner. With elderly make-up, Mr. Hearne succeeded in reducing his audiences to tears. Leslie Henson's best turn was with a military chorus, in which he tried to emulate their precise movements, with convulsing results. Others who did excellent work in "Running Riot" were Louise Browne, and Roy Royston as romantic leads, and Fred Emney. Vivian Ellis did the music and lyrics single-handed.
