TRACY IN LONDON.

Lee Tracy, the well-known film star, made his first visit to London recently when he crossed the Atlantic to take over Raymond Massey's part in the production of Robert Sherwood's "Idiot's Delight." The part of Harry Van, as played by Mr. Massey- and Mr. Tracy was a delightful contribution to the interesting gallery of London character studies. It was Mr. Tracy's first appearance on the London stage. He played the part on a slightly different note from Mr. Massey—he made the part tougher. As the "Cavalcade" critic had it: it is easier to' believe in his carting six blonde cuties round Europe. His emotional, force at the end is not quite so tremendous. It is a real and personal creation." The Sherwood play has been the most theatrically effective of London productions. The theme concerns the reactions of war on a troupe of theatrical folk stranded in a frontier hotel.
