"TRADE WINDS."
The action of "Trade Winds," which fay Gamett is producing and directing for Walter Wanger from an original Garnett story, takes place in seven Pacific countries. As a director, Garnett went from Hollywood to Cuba on his first film (made some twenty years ago) and it started him on a career which has since become one of the most adventurous in the motion picture field. In 1932, he filmed scenes in Greenland, Germany, Austria, and in the Swiss Alps. Two succeeding pictures were made on ships at sea in the Pacific. Then followed his cruise around the world in his yacht, especially equipped for modern-day filming. Many of the spectacular scenes photographed on this voyage will be used in "Trade Winds," in which. Fredric March and Joan Bennett will be costarred with Patsy Kelly and Ralph Bellamy. .
