WOMAN ON AIR COMMISSION
Miss Pauline Gower, 26-year-old flying daughter of Sir Robert Gower, M.P., is the ninth member of an inquiry appointed by the Air Minister to examine regulations governing the flight of aircraft over towns in England, states the "Cape Times." She is the only woman on the Commission, and was the first woman to receive the Air Ministry's first-class'air navigation certificate.
underneath it fits the alcove, and the space beneath it is curtained off and used for shoe racks and shelves.
Over the shelf, at the back of the alcove, is fixed a mirror, and, above this, is a useful cupboard for storing hats.
Naturally, this dressing table will need to be lighted, and strip lighting, either at the sides or top of the mirror would be ideal.
The dressing table looks charmingly decorative when the wood is enamelled a pretty colour to fit in with the colour scheme of the room.
