Wright, Stephenson, and Co., Ltd.; and Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report that at the Johnsonville stock sale yesterday an average yarding of all classes of cattle, sheep, and lambs came forward. Only a few pens of prime heavyweight bullocks came forward, the yarding consisting chiefly of mediumweights with a few pens of light and unfinished sorts. Extra prime heavy bullocks met a ready sale with no alteration, but medium and lightweight bullocks were slightly easier. All classes of cows and heifers met with a ready sale with, no alteration. The yarding of runners and vealers, indifferent in quality, met with a good The wethers penned were of exceptionally good quality with prices showing no alteration. Light wethers were easier by Is a head. Prime heavy ewes were down 6d to Is, but light and mediumweight ewes met with no alteration. All prime quality lambs met a good sale with prices slightly above those ruling for export, but lightweight and plain lambs were Is to Is 6d a head easier.
