WIN FOR HUTT VALLEY
The Hutt Valley Cricket Association's representatives defeated the Christchurch Suburban Association's team by eight wickets in the annual match which was concluded yesterday afternoon at the Hutt Recreation Ground.
Replying with 102 to Hutt's first innings score of 255, the visitors in their second innings' made 194, to which Moynihan contributed .63 not out. Hutt Valley went in yesterday afternoon and knocked up the required 40 runs for the loss of two wickets. Cumming made 25 not out.
For Hutt, Kristiansen took five wickets for 48 runs, Wallis three for 32, and Pollock two for 34.
