ECONOMIC COUNCIL MEMBER
(Received January 3, 10 a.m.) " TOKIO, January 1. The Tientsin correspondent of the Domei news agehcy reports that Mr. Wang Chu-lin, chairman of the Chamber of Commerce, was shot dead when entering his motor-car after dining at the French Concession. He was 81 years of age* and a leading member of the Sino-Japanese Economic Council, who .advocated better relations with Japan.
