DOUBLES CHAMPIONS

FRANCE AND STURT

The only event in the Wellington Lawn Tennis Association's championship and handicap tournament which was not completed on Wednesday, the men's A grade doubles, was played nl Miramar yesterday afternoon before a good gallery. The contest resulted in a win for D. G. France and N.. G. Sturt from K. W. Dyer and N. Edwards by 6-4, 3-6, 6-4, 6-4. The game was a good one. and all four played well. Sturt was the outstanding player. Dyer and Edwards earlier in the week played splendidly to beat the former New Zealand champions, E. A. Roussell and R. McL. Ferkins.
