NEW SOVIET HONOUR
"HERO OF SOCIALIST
LABOUR"
(Independent Cable Service.) MOSCOW, December 29. In an attempt to stimulate industrial output, the Government has created the title of "Hero of Socialist Labour," which will rank with that of "Hero of the Socialist Union."
The new award entitles the holder to a stipend, money premiums^, a house, and a motor-car. It is intended to create a super-group of privileged workers.
