WAIRARAPA OPENS TOMORROW
EARLIER START WITH NEW YEAR MEETINGS

An earlier commencement than^usual will be made with the concluding stage of the Christmas and New YW holiday racing carnival this year, as the Wairarapa Racing Club's Summer Meeting and the Greymouth Jockey Club's Summer Meeting will be opened on New Year's Eve Day tomorrow, and there will also be trotting at Auckland (concluding day) and at Winton. The remaining New Year meetings will not be begun till Monday.
