CHIEF SCOUT'S FILMS

The Hon. Heather Baden-Powell, elder daughter of the Chief Scout, appealed for the return of a number of films of purely sentimental value stolen from her car. It was parked outside her flat in Melbourne Terrace, London, during the night of November 2. A member of Lord BadenPowell's household said: "Altogether nine reels, each of 400 feet, a projector, and a screen were taken. The films /are of ho commercial value, but there are several scenes which the Chief Scout filmed during his travels. They include one or two very good pictures of wild animals in their natural surroundings. Another film shows both Lord Baden-Powell's daughters bathing." The Hon. Heather BadenPowell offered a reward for the return of the films to the Boy Scout Headquarters, 25 Buckingham Palace Road, S.W. 1.
