Six ordinances issued under the national mobilisation law control wage* and hours, restrict dividends and profits, and permit the requisitioning of factories, land, and commodities. It is announced that staple fibre is to replace' wool in army reservists* uniforms, though at present -wool will continue to be used for the clothing of men on active service.
