Working hours may be extended to ten or more a day under a decree which becomes effective on January 1, though an eight-hour day is to be regarded as normal. - Time lost by national holidays and Nazi parades may be made up and hours may be extended to permit of the cleaning of shops and machinery, serving late-comers, or% in the event of non-completion of work involving the employer in disproportionate loss.
