"A PERFECT BEAUTY."
Virginia Bruce, who is co-starred with Fredric March in Hal Roach's "There Goes My Heart," epitomises today's version of perfection in beauty, according to Helena Rubenstein, whose word is final authority in beauty circles the world over. "Blonde Virginia Bruce," Miss Rubinstein states, "is the best example of the new type of woman that is emerging this year— a woman who retains that independence of spirit and sophistication which American womanhood developed during the last decade, to which is added great feminity, graciousness, and womanly charm. Miss Bruce has all the qualities that go into the making, of this new type of beauty. Her independence of spirit and sophistication is apparent in the way she carries her head, the way she stands and moves. It is a matter of inner dignity, born from a lack of self-consciousness and a true evaluation and knowledge of her own abilities."
