"WEST SIDE MIRACLE"
Its cast headed by Edmund Low<. Helen Mack, and Dick Foran, "Wesi Side Miracle" is now iri production ai the Universal Studios. The film is based on an original story by Quentin Reynolds, the famous magazint writer. It traces the career of s young boxer who is badly battered after being "doped" in a match, and is pulled through a fight for his life by a beautiful nurse. Later the young pugilist, although innocent, is sen tenced to die for the murder of his lecherous ex-manager. In his second dramatic fight for life, he is aided by the nurse and a high-powered crimi nal attorney. Making up a new romantic triangle are Foran, as the boxer, Miss Mack, the nurse, and Lowe, the lawyer. "West Side Miracle" marks the debut of Miss Mack and Foran on the' Universal lot, and is the latter's first picture as a freelance player. Arthur Lubin is directing from the screen play by Tom Lennan, with Burt Kelly as associateproducer. »
