When the water was pumped out of the dry dock at Tilbury about twelve large fish were left floundering on the bottom, according to advice received from the Port of London Authority. They proved to be pollack, averaging 12 to 15 inches long with an average girth of seven inches, and had obviously entered the dock when it was flooded to release the 15,000-ton Comorin.
