TE KUITI, This Day. Lightning struck the residence of My. H. Lamont, of Wairere, near Piopio, about 7 o'clock on Tuesday evening, shattering one wall and .destroying the window and sash of a bedroom occupied by an employee,.. Mr. Bert Dixon. ..-
A radio set jowned by Mr.JOixon was in half, one portion being trurled, 12 ieet scr<oss the room. All the wallpaper in the room was burned and clothes hanging near the radio were badly .scorched. The house, was filled with smoke from ijurning cables.
