WOTAN'S SISTER SCRATCHED

I (By Telegraph.—Press Association.)

PALMERSTON N., Dec. 7. The Siegfried—Left filly, accepted for the Nursery Handicap at Woodville on Saturday, has been withdrawn from the field. Her owners applied for the name Erba, but it was disallowed. They omitted to send in a further application, with the result that Wotan s young sister is still without a name. Under the Rules of Racing she must be named before she can be accepted for any race.
