TATTERSFIELD, LTD.
Increased taxation and production costs have reduced profits of Tattersfield, Ltd.. carpet manufacturers, Auckland. Earnings fell from £18,145 last year to £3123. The dividend has been reduced to 5 per- cent, per annum, the rate in the previous year being 8 per cent., with a jubilee bonus of 2 per cent. Profit is struck after making provision for depreciation and land and income tax and transferring £600 to insurance fund reserve. The sum of £250 has been added to general reserve, which now stands at £16,000.
