"VTOTICE is hereby given that the Upper -^ Hutt Borough Council proposes at its meeting to be. held on December 21, 1938, to consider a motion to apply to the Local Government Loans Board for it« sanction to the borrowing of the sum of £6000 for the purpose of Purchasing all that piece or parcel of land comprising parts of Sections 128, 217, and 218, Hutt Registration District (128 acres more or less), commonly known as Maidstonu Park, bounded as follows;— On the north by Park Road, a private road in continuation thereof to the eastward, a right of way in further continuance thereof to the eastern boundary of Section 217, on the east by "Lot 1 on the plan upon conveyance registered number ld-5396, again on the north by the said Lot 1 and by the extension of the southern boundary of the said Lot 1, to the eastern boundary of Lot 3 on the plan on the said conveyance, again on the east by Lot 5 on the plan on the said conveyance, on the south by a line drawn from the western corner of the said Lot 5 westward aloug the fence line to the angle in the eastern boundary of Lot 2 on the plan on the said conveyance, thence along the fence line westwards to the eastern boundary of Section 217 again on the east by the remainder of Lot 2 on the plan on the said conveyance, again on the south by Section 148 on the plan of the Hutt District and on the west by other parts of Section 128 to the point of commencement.
