CREDITS TO TURKEY
ORDERS PLACED IN BRITAIN
ISTANBUL, December 5,
It is announced that £1,819,000 of the British £10,000,000 credit is to be devoted to buying 11 mercantile steamers from the firm of Swan, Hunter, and Wigham Richardson, and £1,500,000 for the purchase of 41 English locomotives and 200 freight cars.
