ITALIAN SHOP WRECKED

HUNDREDS OF CASUALTIES

LONDON, December 5.

Demonstrators in Tunis wrecked an Italian bookshop. Mounted police dispersed them after the windows of an Italian airline building had been smashed.

Mayors throughout Tunis and Corsica sent telegrams to the French Government protesting against the Italian demands and expressing loyalty to France.

The. demonstrations went on all through the night, with a list of casualties estimated at 200 or 300.
