HELP FROM SCHOOLS
OTAKI HEALTH CAMP
During the past six years endes July 31, 1938, the pupils of the school* under the Wellington Education Board have contributed £1391 5s v 9d towards the cost of maintenance for children admitted"to the Otaki Health Camp, whilst the scholars in the secondary schools provided £54 6s 9d during the past three years. In addition, £110 12s 2d was raised by school concerts organised by the Headmasters' ■ Association, thus making a total of £1556 4s Bd, or an average of approximately £260 a year.
The executive of the Wellington Children's Health Camp Association states thc-.i it is very much indebted, to the children for this practical manner of assisting the Otaki' Health Camp, and also thanks the Wellington Education Board, which acknowledges the amounts as they are received from the various schools.
