The Bucharest correspondent of the British . United Press . says that apparently as the Iron Guards' first retaliation for the shooting of - their leader, M. Codreanu, two men. wounded with pistol shots Colonel Crislescu, president of the Cernauti Military Court. , •
Police arrested a student, Leonid Lututovici, whose companion escaped.
The Bucharest correspondent of the "Daily Telegraph" says that many arrests have followed the shooting of the three Iron Guards yesterday. Many Jewisfi buildings were burnt down and Jews were attacked in Bessarabia, where the Iron Guards ordered Jewish teachers to close their schools.
A lawyer, M. Jon Victor Vojen, who is in hiding in order to avoid arrest, has taken over the. leadership of the Iron Guard.
