The Japanese have completely occupied the Chiukiang delta, Canton, and captured a position eight miles south of Fatshan.

A communique claims that this will mean the cutting off of General Chiang Kai-shek's munition supplies, eliminating the Chinese attempt to deliver a counter-attack at Canton.
