RAIN AFFECTS TENNIS
Owing to rain affecting the courts at Miramar none of the Wellington Lawn Tennis Association's inter-club tennis matches or ranking matches was played during the weekend. A representative contest between the Manawatu Association and the Hutt Valley Sub-association was not finished, only two women's matches being completed.
