TRUBY KING CLUB

Twelve new members were admitted at a recent meeting of the Truby King Club. The function, which was held in the Plunket rooms, Kent Terrace. was largely attended by an enthusiastic gathering of members.

The resignation of Mr. Stewart Geddes from the position of secretary was accepted with regret, and Mr. Max Christie was elected to fill his office. Adjustments were made to the committee, to which Miss Patricia McNamara and Mr. T. Ryan were elected. The president, Miss Kathleen Hayes, reported that an urn for heating water had been bought and presented to the Plunket Society by the club.

Plans for a moonlight picnic to be held in the Plunket grounds were discussed, and a tentative programme was drawn up for next year.
