HAPPY ENTERTAINING
Mr. and Mrs. W. Hall Raine entertained a number of guests at Miss Raine's dancing studio on Wednesday night in honour of their daughter, Miss Joarie Raine. The ballroom and supper-room were gaily decorated with bowls of scarlet and white flowers, streamers, balloons, and many novelties. Small dancing figures in the two colours attached to place cards on the supper table marked each guest's place, while three groups of white swans and small scarlet and white ballet figures represented "Health, Wealth, and Happiness" at the table of the guest of honour, over which was placed also a large scarlet key. Scarlet ke.ys decorated the walls, and each guest autographed the ribbons attached to a large gold key which was presented to Miss Raine.
Mrs. Raine received the guests, wearing a draped gown of mist blue ninon with bolero of the same material. Miss Joane Raine wore gaily-striped georgette with draped top and very full skirt.
