COLONEL BOGEY'S PROMISE

Colonel Bogey, who has created quite a good impression in his recent track essays at Awapuni, is a three-year-old by Nightmarch from Kilmiss, thus a full-brother to Merrymarch, and a half-brother to Sweet Music. His relatives showed fine promise in the early parts of their career, but their records were affected owing to recurring unsoundness. Up to date Colonel Bogey has given no symptoms of the trouble, and it is to be hoped that he stands up to a solid preparation, for there is no doubt about his brilliance. He is a member of J. Coyle's team.
