A FURNITURE BOYCOTT
A boycott of all furniture not made in the Union of South Africa has been decided on in Durban by the Furniture Workers' Industrial Union (Natal), as the result of the wholesale dumping of foreign-made furniture in South Africa. The Union blames the Government and the Board of Trade for their apathetic attitude towards heavy importations of furniture.
