TWO PEOPLE INJURED
ACCIDENT AT MIRAMAR
CAfl AND MOTOR-CYCLE
COLLIDE
Two people were injured when a motor-car driven by Mr. HenryHoward, of Breaker Bay, an employee of the Harbour Board, and a motorcycle, ridden by L. W. Palmer, aged 18, of 37 Devonshire Road, a motormechanic, come into collision at the intersection of Strathavon Road and Ellesmere Avenue, Miramar, at 7.40 o'clock this morning. The motor-car was proceeding south along Strathavon Road and the motor-cycle east along j Ellesmere Avenue. Palmer suffered concussion, a fractured right forearm, and a compound fracture of the right ankle. Miss P. Howard, a tailoress, aged 16, who was X passenger in the back seat of the jnotor-car, suffered a dislocated left shoulder and a laceration of the left lovee. Both were taken to hospital by the Free Ambulance. The only other passenger in fhe motor-car, which capsized after the collision, was Miss Gloria Friend, of Breaker Bay. Neither she nor Mr. Howard was injured., The motor-car was extensively damaged and the motor-cycle suffered fcrinor damage. j
