BEQUESTS TO CHARITIES
(Special to the 'tvening Post.")
AUCKLAND, This Day
Bequests to religious and charitable organisations are made under the will of the late Mr. J. Rendell, retired draper, who died at Auckland on November 13, and whose estate has been sworn for probate as being under £30,000. After the trustee has followed the testator's directions as to the disposition of various bequests among members of the family, he is empowered to distribute the residue of the estate among the religious and other institutions he may think fit.
Although the late Mr. Rendell left the choice to the discretion of his trustee, he recommended the following for his consideration: —The British and Foreign Bible Society (New Zealand branch), Jubilee Institute for the Blind in Auckland, SalvatMi Army orphanages in the Dominion, the Manurewa Children's Home, the North Island Methodist Orphanages, and the Church of Christ Rhodesian Mission, Auckland.
