BRUSSELS, December 2,
The Minister of Finance (M. Gerard) resigned after consultations with King Leopold because he differs with the policy on which the remainder of the Cabinet has decided.
A crisis has therefore been averted
A communique which was issued ignores the Spanish issue, confirms the policy against deflation, and promises an economic plan which will include compulsory unemployment insurance.
