MASTERTON GOLF CLUB

MASTERTON, This Day,
The annual meeting of the Masterton Golf Club was held last evening, the president, Mr. G. W. Sellar, presiding over a large attendance of members. Although there was a loss of £131 19s lid, the year had been quite a good one, said the president. Considerable improvements had been carried out to the links during the year and he expressed his confidence that the membership would grow.
Officrs were elected as follows:— Men: President, Mr. G. W. Sellar; vice-presidents, Messrs. H. P. Hugo and W. H. Robieson; club captain, Mr. C. C. Marsack; committee, Messrs. N. F. Blundell, C. C. Heard, E. Henderson, J. V. Gordon, W. E. Holdgate, J. E. Jenkins, and G. M. Ross; hon. secretary, Mr. D. T. Herbert; hon. treasurer, Mr. F. M. Cunningham; hon. auditor, Mr. W. M. Sellar. Ladies: President, Mrs. G. W. Sellar; vice-pre-sident, Mrs. N. H. Prior; club captain, Miss R. Murray; committee, Mesdames R. R. Burridge, F. M. Cunningham, H. H. Daniell, P. F. Fagan, B. P. Perry, R. Plummer, and Miss D. Todd; hon. secretary, Mrs. A. J. Drew.
